I go here at least 4 times a week for coffee in the morning. WHY 5 STARS? Because they have great customer service. EXCELLENT, actually. I love their asiago bagels, the Light Roast coffee is better than Starbucks or Einstein down the street... Their Mediterranean sandwich is my favorite. They also have probably the best rewards program ever... you do actually get free stuff... and frequently.

Just went in to grab a quick turkey sandwich. The bread at this place is definitely 5 stars. I have run in a few times just to grab a bread for my apartment. The turkey was gross processed low quality pretty comparable to subway turkey. I think I will just stick to the bread, and coffee. The sandwich I found was inexpensive $5.79 altough now I know why. Low quality meats!

Where did the friendly management/trainers go???? I want them BACK!!! Returned to find the air conditioning "broken". It was about 55 degrees and I was wearing a Summer dress - which was unbearable because my order was repeatedly delayed because 1st - they didn't have chopped eggs read/available for my sale then 2nd - my order was provided to the wrong customer. Despite waiting in the freezing cold for 20+ minutes (unusually long for a Panera), the kid at the counter seemed unphased at the length of time it was taking to provide my meal (a pick 2). Both the manager and the kid behind the counter expressed the "store is new", so this was all acceptable. Please let me assure you - it is not... Please do us a favor management and open your doors when your air conditioning is broken in the "on" position. At least that would have warmed the place up a bit and stopped the nonstop complaining I heard from at least 5 customers while I waited growing increasingly aggravated for over 20 minutes for my order. My return visit was actually a one star visit - but I'm giving 3 stars because of my initial positive experience, because I'm psyched to have Panera in my neighborhood, because I had a nice meal outside in their sitting area (once I got it), and the food was reliably good (your orange scones are to die for :) So, thanks, I think?

I'm a loyal and frequent patron of panera bread, I come once a week, sometimes twice to enjoy there amazing salads, sandwiches, soups, and pastry's, Jessica and the manager shayne are amazing employee's, they are always happy, helpful and make all my visits that much enjoyable.!.

This location is filthy and has poor customer service and a bunch of homeless people charging their phones and using the wifi...welcome to south beach. Good quality is marginal compared to the other paneras I have visited. I would go some place else if you can.

Panera bread is my go-to feel good quick eats. My usual is the Asian sesame salad along with broccoli and cheese soup. I visit often at this location and 2 out of 5 times, it's good as expected. The other times.. I question everything down to the lettuce. There has been more time that the lettuce is wilted and not so fresh. The wontons used aren't fresh either. Chewing more so than crunchy. The soup, thick but only because it's cold. I'm so disappointed but it's the only one on the beach. And when the wi-fi is "down", forget about it. You're left less than entertained and probably dissatisfied. Woo woo :(

Was excited to have panera for breakfast but my experience at this location was no good. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese on a plain bagel to go. The girl asked me at least 4 times if it was to go but when they gave it to me it was still on the plate and I had to remind there guy it was to go. Once I got it home and opened it up it was just an egg on a bagel and that's it. Also, I ordered a pumpkin spice latte which I was excited about because I've had it at a panera before and it was delicious but this was a horrible version of a pumpkin spice latte. It didn't taste like anything but coffee and milk. Disappointed in my experience at the Alton road panera and I probably won't go there again.

I love panera, the soups and salads are delish for those that try to eat healthy and nutritious in a land of temptation ;) Big place and comfy, quite comfortable. I spend a lot of time there working and I quite enjoy it.!

Overall it's a very well trained staff so I want to give them stars for that, I just find it very odd that a place named for its bread runs out of bagels every day. Seems very odd. Also - maybe this is just me, but I feel like breakfast options should be available later than 10:30 a.m. The nature of Panera to me is bagels and breakfast type food, also it's South Beach and I don't not sure that's a realistic time for breakfast to end here :)

After several visits at various locations I am still not a fan. My daughter really enjoys coming here so we stopped in for breakfast yesterday morning. I am giving three stars simply due to the great service we received from the cashier, she was very friendly. We both ordered egg, bacon and cheese on a bagel. I wanted fresh orange juice but they only sell bottles orange juice, meh! My daughter ordered the hot chocolate which was huge but she said it was not very good. The restaurant itself has a nice size dining area and also some seating outside. Our order was ready and when I saw the bagel sandwich I was not to pleased. They must use a press because the bagel was completely smashed like a pancake, so hot we had to wait literally ten minutes just to break it apart. Very skimpy on the bacon and the bagel sandwich itself was bland and boring and again pressed so flat. I prefer my bagels fluffy. I am just not crazy about their food here. I think they offer some great pastry's and desserts but IMO that is all that is good.

Love my strawberry chicken poppyseed salad!!!!! Hazelnut coffee is a must and the peach pecan muffin is to die for! They also have a rewards card that gives you free stuff!!! That's even better! The service is better than most coffee places!!

Ok, only 3 stars b/c who are we kidding it's a Panera bread. Now that being said, this locale is very consistent with fast, good food!. I work on the beach, so I'm always eating out for lunch. Oh they are also open for breakfast, so when I leave without eating breakfast, I swing by here to pick a quick bite! When I'm a real rush, I can place an order online and it's ready for pick up pretty quickly. I also enjoy coming to the actual restaurant when I need to escape the office for lunch! Sandwich's and soups are all good!!!

The best place to study, hands down. I love Panera Bread. The food is amazing and pretty healthy and the atmosphere is very quiet. Of course you will get a few loud mouths here but they tend to eat their sandwiches and leave quickly so no complains here. Definitely a perfect place to have lunch or study.

This place gabe me more than I expected. Very american flavored and preped. Great prices and flavors. If you need a very casual, quick and light meal, this is a great place to get that! Most of the menu is based on sandwiches and salads, and they have great combinations for you to get the most of the experecience. I tried the Turkey (real one, not deli) and cramberry flat, with brocoli and cheddar soup and chips for $10. Give it a try, its worth it every now and the !

3.5 Stars. The extra half point is for the friendly attitude of the cashier. We ordered bagels and coffees and had a nice table by the window. The table was dirty and honey bear bottle was nearly empty but everything else was OK. I have been there before for sandwiches etc. and had the same impression. Sandwiches and salads are always good. Overall so close to a 4 star.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered the greek salad with chicken. Delicious until the very end when I spotted a large winged BUG on a piece of feta. The manager on duty apoligized, asked if we wanted anything else and refunded our money. We had also ordered a brownie which was really hard and stale. We let the manager know again and she said "wow this must have been the worst experience for you" it was but that's also not a thing a manager should say.

Actually the food is not what I want it and the place dirty, one of the employe so simple stole my parking when have a big sing ONLY costumers parking and I was waiting 25 minuts, the same lady in the cashier so nasty so rude never again. Panera bread biscayne and 125st they are the best and this place need to learn. Of the other store.

Panera is great for a quick meal before work or a casual lunch. My go to meal is the pick 2 - Greek salad & broccoli cheese soup. I've probably ordered this at least a dozen times. My only complaint about this location is that no matter what the temperature is outside or what season it is, the AC is cranked high. It's annoying when you go in on a chilly rainy day (I know it's a shock , but Miami does have them!) it's 70 in side with no where to get warm. But overall, I keep returning. The food is good and fast ! The employees are friendly. And if you join the panera club they give you free cookies. & sodas!

Really impressed with the manager here. Every time I come in to study she is running around, working so hard, all while with a smile on her face. This attitude reflects in her workers. Excellent food and excellent staff! **My tip for coming here is to bring a jacket. It is always a little chilly for me.

Very good sandwiches. However, we went up to order half a dozen bagels after. We had to repeat our order five times. Even then, they only gave us five bagels, not the six that we paid for. They also kept asking if we wanted them toasted with cream cheese. No, we weren't eating half a dozen bagels right then. That's why we asked for them to go. Very slow service. Decent price. But they get your order wrong and rip you off so not impressed.

practice makes perfect. panera has improved its service, even at lunch time the lines seem to flow well and thats a must at a place like this. technically its fast food but yet still feels crafty. i love the fact that you could get an apple as a side (and you should!) when ordering a combo. im glad i gave panera a second and third chance, now i occasionally go for lunch and dinner, i guess that makes me a fan of it.

I've been a fan of Panera Bread since I was kid, so I was excited to see one in SoBe. I could barely down the food. The green iced tea (usually my fav) was way too sweet and weird flakes were floating around inside which I thought were moldy(?). I had a few sips and threw it out. The French onion soup was way too salty. I felt really sick after eating here (I got a soup and salad combo) and had to lay down for awhile. Other than that, the staff there is friendly.

  • Robert I.

Quality is normal for Panera. The staff is friendly but super super slow. Maybe there is a lot of turnover or lack of training. But basic things like using a register are complicated here. When they started to let you order food with the iPhone app it fixed all that. But now they removed that ability. Hope it comes back because I don't like spending 20 minutes to get a togo order.

Fast sad facts: 1.Bring a sweater. 2.The Chips are so hard you better have your Dentist tel# handy 3. Always ask for extra Salad dressing, the containers are so small I swear they got them to hold contact lenses. 4. You can count the beans in the black bean soup.... on one hand!

The Panera Bread is excellent. Food is always great and the staff is friendly. My only negative which I'm writing just so hopefully Corporate will see this is that they allow smoking in their outdoor seating. Their outdoor seating is right next to where people have to walk in and out of the building. It's absolutely disgusting. I hope they'll change the policy someday. 3 stars because of this. If it was non smoking outside then I'd give 5. It also is always VERY cold inside too.

I love Panera. There, I said it. This chain and me go way, way back. Way back to the days where it was a local St. Louis bread, soup, and sandwich shop known as "St. Louis Bread Company," and there were 2 locations within walking distance of my house. For origination in my hometown alone, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for St. Louis Bread Company...ahem, Panera. The new South Beach location may not have been want the area was clamoring for in the former Quarterdeck space, but it fits in nicely. Tons of outdoor seating, both out front and in the back, a small but sufficient private, and free, parking lot, and sandwiches, soup, and bakery options galore - what's not to love? The bread and pastries are awesome. If you haven't tried one of their orange scones yet, do it - you'll have found your new favorite pastry. Their breakfast options are awesome, provided you get their on time. But if you miss out on the breakfast sandwiches, you still may be able to score one of their quiche-esque dishes, which are quite tasty as well. I have 2 gripes about this place so far: (1) the iced coffee situation - no cold brew, and you have to walk to one end of the store to get ice and then back to the front to pour hot coffee over that ice - not the best set up; and (2) why do they only have single-serve cream cheese cups for bagels? I want my bagel toasted and cream-cheesed up for me, like most places do! Whether you're in the mood for a sandwich, salad, soup, or a yummy pastry, Panera has got something for you. Add in a spacious dining area and free wi-fi, and what's not to love?

I could literally throw a stone onto Panera's roof from my apartment, which I love. I have been stalking the space habitually since Quarterdeck closed almost a year ago. Permit postings, equipment coming and going, yellow tape in the parking lot out back.. yep, I know their story. I am happy to report: Panera lives up to the hype. My hype, that I have been building up in my head, that is. I don't know if anyone else was really that excited for a chain sandwich shop to take up residence on Alton Road. So I stopped in the other day to get lunch for my honey and me. The actual physical space is completely different. They reworked the kitchen into a totally different area and the counter is set up on an angle, which adds a fresh feel. Service was quick and friendly and you already know their prices are good. I had tomato soup (love!) and half a mozz tomato sandwich. It was a lot of tomato, which was my fault. Next I'm trying a salad - they look amazing! Fast, healthy, cheap... what's not to love!?

Panera is FINALLY officially open in South Beach! I've literally been drooling the past few months since the first 'coming soon' sign went up. Had my favorite You Pick Two soup & salad combo there tonight and the staff was very friendly and seemed to be well-trained for having just opened. It's a decent sized location with both indoor and outdoor seating. I've now scored a hat trick of favorite food places on Alton, which also includes Lime & Bernie's LA Cafe.

I've already been here 3 times and my ratings for this placed varied: First Time: ** (Read Joseluis A. review and I was that friend). Second Time: **** and Third Time: **** Their service had improved and the bread bowl soups (Creamy Tomato**** and Chicken Noodle*****) is geniusly delicious!! If your not sure about soup or salad or sandwich, then they have this thing called the YP2 (You Pick 2) and that's a meal. Half of 1 and half of the other = 1 full meal. YP2!!! The place feels like someone's living room area, like a starbucks but different color surroundings. I enjoy it! Bring a laptop too, Free Wifi! Quick Tips: ask about their Panera Card. By activating it, you get free coffee, free smoothie, and/or free cookie. Also, remember these 3 choices after placing your order; Chips, Bread or Apple. Choose one, it's part of the meal.

I am thrilled this place has opened. They are still working out a few of the kinks, but alread this is a stardard panera, with good bagles andbetter sandwiches. I have started to wonder over here on mornings and in the evening just for snacks, and because it is right out my back door, the smell of the bake goods wafts into my apartment making it almost impossible to resist. The seating area is large, the counters are spacious, there is a parking lot in the back, and all of the above are spotless, including the newly topped parking lot. The staff is friendly, even when I can tell they are frustrated learning about the registeres and how to set up orders. The experienced staff from other stores, is great at helping out. I have a feeling this is going to become quite the popular place on south beach.

Panera food, KFC service. Unfortunately, when I asked for the manager to discuss the dirty utensils, tray, and napkins I was given, he reply was that: he is the manager and the dirty food on the tray, utensils, and napkins were from his glove. Needless to say, dried lettuce on a fork doesn't qualify as food from his glove. He didn't apologize.

SoBe location has to get its act together...employees seem inexperienced and lost. Their attitude not so friendly either. Been there twice, coffee dispensers empty, had tp request and they took their time...

The salads at Panera Bread are DELICIOUS! I especially like the chicken and fresh fruit salad. I have never actually been so full from a salad before! The prices are pretty high, but don't seem out of the ordinary for Miami Beach. The actual sit-down area is very nice and clean as well.

I used to hate Panera and I mean hate Panera. They had crappy fat-laden salads and pastries. They were a run of the mill bakery but recently I have returned and am soooo glad I did. The management at this location is amazing. I did my work there for quite a while without complaints and enjoyed several green teas. I wanted to order the mediterranean salmon salad but was concerned when I read it had tangerine dressing (don't normally like fruit in my salad) and they agreed to let me taste the dressing before hand (glad I did not my style) and then when I didn't like it substituted a new dressing with no charge. Plus, the salmon was completely fresh and amazing-a true feat for a chain restaurant known for soup and salads and not fish. I am thinking I have found my hang out and taste bakery better watch out. I love taste bakery's food but their sitting area is so small and just can't compete with Panera. Best part of Panera? The free wi-fi which you don't get knocked off hardly at all. Plus, the staff was super well trained.

  • Denise S.

The food is everything you expect from Panera and this location serves it up perfectly. No complaints there. The reason I'm giving this specific location 5 stars is because of the exceptional service. On a recent trip, we had both breakfast and dinner here. Both times, the service was above and beyond. Friendly, attentive, and fast. Both the morning and evening manager went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied with our meals. I had an order glitch that was kind of my fault which the fixed immediately and were very kind and accommodating. Bonus? They have free parking for customers which if you've been to Miami Beach you know is a big deal.

Cool Panera location in SoBe. the workers here hover around the "indifferent" level, but the wifi is always working and there is plenty of seating and even parking in the back. The food is average in my opinion but many people like it.
